Activities and Events in Hartland, MI
The Hartland Sports Center is home to Bounce Gymnastics center which offers classes for boys and girls gymnastics, cheer, and tae kwon do. In the same building is the Hartland Ice House which hosts hockey leagues and open skates.
Waldenwoods is a large resort that provides a wide range of activities and services to guests. Owned and operated by the Crouse family since 1837, Lake Walden is a 140 acre lake that is surrounded by a beautiful 400 acres of wooded area. The resort was originally opened as a business meeting place and has now grown to become a destination for camping, conferences, and weddings.
There are over 320 campsites and the resort offers swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, and golfing at The Majestic at Lake Walden. Fireworks shows in the summer, dances, bonfires, even a New Year’s Party are just a few of the events and gatherings that Waldenwoods hosts.
Spicer Orchards Farm Market and Cider Mill is located just north of Hartland. Take the kids in the fall to pick pumpkins, enjoy the hayride, and watch apple cider being made. Adults can enjoy wine tastings and browse the shops that sell plenty of apples, pastries, doughnuts, and gifts.
